Lead #1: In result of having “phenomenal” test scores over the the past 3 years.Starting March 5, 2015 all students except for freshman will have a open campus lunch policy.Also, lunch periods will be 10 minutes longer giving students 45 minutes of lunch.

The topic of my article is a battle between the U.S. Air Force & a family over area 51.The information that I got from the article “Area 51 in Nevada:A legal battle for control” is on CNN. Basically, the U.S. Air Force wants to purchase land near/on Area 51. The problem is, a family currently lives there, and for generations have lived there. The reason why the U.S. Air Force greatly wants this area is for the safety the family. The family keeps fighting with everything they have to try to keep the property but, the U.S. Air Force vowed to use eminent domain to get the piece of land. I understand why the Shehans want to keep the house/property.They want it because it has been theirs for decades, and they aren’t gonna let the government take that away from them. My take on this is, the family should be able to keep their property; it is rightfully theirs. It honestly doesn’t affect me. This impacts the world because if the Shehans let this happen the government will start to beileve that they can do this to more people.

The topic of my article is over an 11-year-old boy that killed a 16-year-old boy September 3, 2015 a child has become a murder, two minors have been left home alone,and a 16-teen year old has died. Apparently, the teenager tried to get inside the house three times just that day alone.He finally got inside & the 11-year-old pulled out a hand gun for self defense  & shot the intruder in the head.My thoughts on this is that I understand why the 11 year old did it because he was trying to protect himself, and his little sister.I don’t really think would affect the world entirely, but I think that this will sort of affect gun control.
