It was a gorgeous day! The sun was out and shining, there were no clouds, and the birds were singing their beautiful songs! Today was gonna be a great day, it was my birthday! All my family was here!
“HIT IT!” “HIT IT!” I heard as I smashed the Dora the Explorer pinata. As I hit it again and again, I collapsed to the toasty, green ground as soon as I felt the tasty candy hit my head. All the candy fell to the floor and I found most of it!
That was the moment when my big brother, Martin, snachted my bowl that was overflowing with candy. “GET BACK HERE MARTIN!!!” I shrieked. “NO WAY THIS IS MY CANDY NOW!” he yelled. “Mommy, Martin won’t give back my candy!” I uttered. “MARTIN.”my mom shouted. “Yes ma’am.” “Why did you take your sister’s candy?” “Um……………………………because she was being annoying?!?”he exclaimed “Give it back!”my mom said with a serious voice “YAY!!”I filled with joy.

“YooHoo!”I yelled “I get to open presents,I get to open presents,and you don’t cause its not your birthday!!!”I rubbed it into my cousins face!First was my mom she gave me an enormous box,probably half as tall as me,it was filled with my favorite candy like pixie sticks, hershey kisses,and chocolate covered raisins!Up next is my Tia rosy and she gave me a card,boo hoo,but when I open it 100 dollars come out of it.After all the cards and gift comes my daddy with a…………………. Finally my family and friends sat down on the comfy couch and on the soft carpet,and we all watched Flicka.What I learned from this experience is that you can have good times with good people,but you can only have a great time with great people.I think this is true you can have a great time with your friends but you’ll have a even better time with your family.
