The topic of my article is a battle between the U.S. Air Force & a family over area 51.The information that I got from the article “Area 51 in Nevada:A legal battle for control” is on CNN. Basically, the U.S. Air Force wants to purchase land near/on Area 51. The problem is, a family currently lives there, and for generations have lived there. The reason why the U.S. Air Force greatly wants this area is for the safety the family. The family keeps fighting with everything they have to try to keep the property but, the U.S. Air Force vowed to use eminent domain to get the piece of land. I understand why the Shehans want to keep the house/property.They want it because it has been theirs for decades, and they aren’t gonna let the government take that away from them. My take on this is, the family should be able to keep their property; it is rightfully theirs. It honestly doesn’t affect me. This impacts the world because if the Shehans let this happen the government will start to beileve that they can do this to more people.
